The Program Works!
Once your blood glucose level starts to return to the normal range, you'll realize that this program actually works.
So, now that you know the program works, you have 2 options:
1. Continue to follow our website advice but live with the disease and the future complications.
2. Decide to go beyond just
controlling the disease to
reverse and defeat your diabetes
before it takes hold, and you begin developing complications, i.e.
chronic fatigue, high blood pressure, obesity, blurry vision, tingling
in the legs, kidney problems, sexual dysfunction, gum disease, heart
problems, etc.
Warning: Don't forget that the diabetes is still rotting out your
insides. At this moment, you may not feel any pain or discomfort
because the disease attacks the parts of the body without any nerves or
pain centers.
So, act now and
begin reversing your diabetes. Later, it will become more difficult.
Note: If you want to read why the author designed the Death to Diabetes book against the recommendations of various experts, read The Book's Detailed Description (The Story Behind Book's Design). This web page also provides a detailed description of the book's contents, as told by the author.
In the meantime, perform the following to keep your blood glucose in the normal range:
1. Perform the other steps on this web page.
2. Read
The 7 Mistakes Document, or, the Why Diabetic Document.
3. Read Chapters 7 and 17 of
Death to Diabetes for more healthy recipes.
4. Get the
super diet-for-diabetics cookbook for hundreds of more healthy recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts, smoothies, etc.
5. Get the
"Favorite Foods"
PDF (or cookbook) to learn more about how to prepare super meals and
snacks, and desserts; and, how to transform your favorite foods and
meals into super meals, with one or two minor changes.
After a few weeks (now that you realize that this program really works),
you may become bored with eating the same types of meals every day.
If you want more meal diversity with tasty meals (including pasta,
casseroles, stir-frys, mac 'n cheese, steak, fried chicken, etc.), then,
read Chapter 17 (of
Death to Diabetes) for some food tips to help you continue on your journey to better health.
Once you've exhausted all the food tips in Chapter 17, then, get the
diet-for-diabetics cookbook to obtain hundreds of more food tips and recipes -- so that you can continue to improve your health and your diabetes.
Note: The cookbook
contains lots of healthy scrumptious easy-to-prepare recipes and
includes hundreds of ideas for eating healthier versions of your
favorite foods, i.e. French fries, mashed potatoes, steak, ice cream,
chocolate, brownies, cake, how to make Brussels sprouts taste like candy, etc. As a result, these food tips make it easier to transition to eating healthier foods.
Note: If you find that you need day-to-day guidance or if you want to get a jump-start on improving your diabetes, then, get the Diabetes Management Workbook
-- many of our clients like the specific day-to-day guidance that the
workbook provides, plus it takes out the guesswork concerning what you
should be doing. In addition, it gives you more time to finish reading the book.
Meal Planning & Menu Planning
Meal planning & menu planning
is one of the key enablers for diabetics to be successful with
controlling and reversing their diabetes. Unfortunately, many diabetics
don't perform meal planning (or menu planning) because they think it's
boring, they think it's time-consuming, or they don't know how to
properly meal plan -- especially to improve their diabetes and their
overall health.

The 5 "Dead" Foods
One of the keys to successfully defeating your diabetes is to avoid excess consumption of the 5 "dead" foods and many of the so-called “healthy” foods.
Try to reduce and eventually avoid eating the refined, processed, and starchy "dead" foods such as white bread, wheat bread (made with "enriched" flour), white rice, white pasta, macaroni, white potatoes, and corn; grain-based foods such as cereal, refined oatmeal, grits, porridge, etc.; clear vegetable oils (e.g. corn, soybean, sunflower, safflower, canola); foods that contain high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oil (trans fats), refined sugar, and table salt; and beverages such as soda, diet soda, tap water, and most bottled fruit juices.
In addition, try to avoid non-prescription drugs, prescription drugs (if possible), and recreational drugs, especially alcohol, tobacco, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana.
Read Chapter 6 for a complete list of the "dead" foods
that you need to avoid so that you can save your hard-earned money to
buy the foods that will help to repair your body. Once your body is
repaired, you will save even more money because your body won't require
as much fuel (food) to produce the necessary energy; and, you won't be
spending money on OTC drugs, prescription drugs, doctor appointments,
and chemical-laden "dead" foods.
Read Chapter 6 for a complete list of "super" foods, and Chapter 7 for the components of the Super Meal Model and examples of super meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Also, read Chapter 17 for
food tips and recipe ideas. Gradually increase your consumption of
super meals to facilitate the body's cleansing and detoxification
processes.
Use the Alternative Healthier Foods Table in
the book's Appendix to identify healthier versions of your favorite
foods and to help in your transitioning from eating poorly to eating
more healthy -- without feeling deprived of your favorite foods. Because
if you feel deprived, you will revert to eating poorly.
Cleanse/Detoxification
If you want to accelerate your body's repair process, next to eating the
5 super foods, the best thing that you can do is to perform a periodic cleanse/detox of
your body, especially the colon, liver, kidneys, lymphatic system, and
pancreas. Please note that most wellness programs don't even mention
cleanse/detoxing, and those that do fail to mention the pancreas!
Nutritional Supplementation
First of all, if you're taking any supplements, save your money and don't buy anymore vitamins -- until your blood glucose level and health have improved.
Once you have implemented your super meal program, read Chapter 8
about supplements. If possible, work with a licensed nutritionist to
perform a nutritional gap analysis to identify any critical nutrients
that you are missing from your meals.
Read Chapter 8 to
use the 7 key criteria that will help you identify superior food-based
nutritional supplements that will provide the critical missing
nutrients.
Of course, always talk
with your doctor first, especially if you are taking any drugs such as
Coumadin (a blood thinner) that may interact with some supplements that
perform a similar function, e.g. Omega-3s, garlic.
Read about what super foods and nutritional supplements to buy and order them directly from our web page!
If you would like to learn about the 7 most critical vitamins/nutritional supplements for a diabetic, then, get the "Nutritional Supplements" ebook/PDF.
Eating Out/Dining Out
With this wellness program, you will still
be able to enjoy eating out or dining out with your friends. For more
information, read Chapter 7 or get the Dining Out Guidelines PDF.
Food Cravings
There are 2 major types of cravings that can
sabotage your health. But this wellness program provides specific
countermeasures to overcome the cravings. For more information, read
Chapter 6 or get the How to Eliminate Food Cravings PDF.
Knowledge Acquisition
STEP 2: Knowledge is power!
When it comes to fighting a disease like diabetes, knowledge is power -- but only if you have the right knowledge. So, get the book and acquire the right knowledge about diabetes and nutrition.
Doing
your own research is an excellent way to acquire knowledge, but don't
overdo the research. At some point, you'll need to take some action
before your diabetes worsens.
In fact, as part of your research, just try the program! That way you'll
be improving your diabetes while you're doing your research!
And, don't forget to read some of
myths about diabetes. Many of these myths have made it difficult for diabetics to separate fact from fiction.
If you want more information, then, subscribe to the free diabetes newsletter today! Learn about the mistakes that
diabetics make repeatedly. Implement the countermeasures, and you will
have even better control of your diabetes for the first time!
If
you are a wellness consultant, diabetes educator, health advocate, or
other healthcare professional, and you want to be an expert in diabetes
care, then, go "beyond the book" and get the Train-the-Trainer Training Program. It will increase your knowledge and help you grow your business.

The Book
If you still need more information, then, at this point, you should order the book.
By now, you have discovered that this wellness program works. And, the
book will help to provide more information and become your foundation of
knowledge and a higher quality of life.
For those of you in the wellness industry that need more than the book, get one of our training programs.
Note: Here is a small sample of some of the
PowerPoint presentation slides from one of the training programs.
Education & Wellness Planning
STEP 3: If you need guidance or help getting started in the right direction with the diet for diabetics, contact our Diabetes Wellness Center (1-800-813-1927) and
talk with an ex-diabetic who has actually been where you are! Learn how
to re-program your body and your mind so that you can improve your
health dramatically within 30 days!
Change is difficult, but we can help you overcome the 3 major barriers and adopt The 7 Habits of a Healthy Lifestyle.
If you think it cost too much to eat healthy or if you're struggling with your financial life, read about the Health & Wealth Connection.
STEP 4: Start to
exercise, but start slowly -- by walking 15-20 minutes a day before you go to work, during lunch, or after dinner.
Note: Most people hate to exercise including the author

--
so, at least try to integrate some form of movement into your daily
routine. For example, shopping, lawn mowing, gardening, golf, and
hunting are ways to increase your physical activity.
Key Point: Some forms of exercises (i.e. resistance
training) perform the same function as taking the diabetic drugs, but
without the side effects!
STEP 5a: Perform
blood glucose testing
to verify that our Super Breakfast protocol (diet for diabetics) is
working and that your blood glucose level is under control. But, also,
use the blood glucose testing data to eventually reverse your diabetes!
Now, change your dinner, following our
Super Dinner protocol (diet for diabetics).
Note: This type of dinner sets the stage to help the body cleanse/detoxify and repair itself while you sleep.
STEP 5b: Eat healthy snacks, following our
Super Snack protocol (diet or diabetics).
Snacking is one of the areas that we all struggle with during the day
and after dinner. But, don't forget to use blood glucose testing to
verify that the snacks are healthy.
Note: Read about what snacks to buy and order them directly from our web page!
STEP 6: Perform
cleansing/detox
to remove the accumulated toxins and help the liver, kidneys, colon,
and lymphatic system to function better; and, accelerate the body's
repair process.
STEPs 7-10: Follow
these steps for doctor
visits, spirituality, emotional support, and exercise.
Emotional Support & Spiritual Health
Having to deal with diabetes and all the changes can be
overwhelming. But, there are many ways to cope with all the changes and
the stress, including emotional support, stress reduction, spirituality, knowledge acquisition, and coaching/ counseling. Here are some inspirational quotes
that may help; and, here is a quote from one of our customers [Thank
you, Patty!] that we felt is appropriate when first dealing with
diabetes:
"You don't have to get
it perfect, you just have to get it going. Babies don't walk the first
time they try, but eventually they get it right." Jack Canfield
Learn how to handle stress to
prevent yourself from making bad choices such as eating a big bowl of
ice cream after breaking up with your partner or after having a rough
day at work.
Contact the American Diabetes Association (ADA) to find a local diabetes support group for emotional support. If you can't find a group, talk to some other diabetics in your community and start your own support group.
However, don't follow the ADA's diet plan!
And, don't underestimate the power of God and your inner spirit! Use your spirituality
by tapping into that power to help change the negative talk-track in
your head and inhibit the influences of the negative people around you.
This will help to reduce the stress in your life and prevent depression.
Because of all the demands of
managing diabetes and because high blood glucose levels can reduce your
serotonin levels, this can possibly lead to state of depression.
The good news is that many
cases of depression can be treated with superior nutrition,
spirituality, and tips on reducing the stress in your life.
Use one or more of the tips on this web page to help reduce the stress in your life and improve your health emotionally.
If you are a person of faith, read this web page to understand how God plays a role in your health.

Exercise
If you're like most people, you hate exercise for one or more of the following reasons:
- It takes up time from your busy schedule.
- It's boring and doesn't appear to provide any benefits.
- Your muscles are sore the next day.
- You're hungry after you exercise so you eat extra food.
- You don't lose any significant amount of weight after exercising for a couple weeks.
The key to exercise is to:
- Figure out how to increase your daily physical activity.
- Find a friend to go walking or jogging with after meals.
- Find a fun activity such as gardening, skiing, swimming, skating, etc.
- Start slowly exercising for 15-20 minutes every day, and increase gradually to 30-45 minutes every day. Remember: Consistency is the key to a successful exercise regimen of aerobics, weight resistance and stretching.
- Read Chapter 10 for more details about exercise.
If you just don't have time to exercise,
and would like to learn how to perform specific body movements and
reduce your exercise to less than 15 minutes a day, sign up for a health coaching session or get the "Exercise & Physical Activity" PDF.
Blood Glucose Testing
Blood glucose (BG) testing and blood glucose monitors are the most powerful diagnostic tools available to a diabetic today.
Unfortunately, blood glucose testing
is misunderstood and is not utilized properly. As a result, BG testing
creates more fear and anxiety instead of knowledge and hope.
Consequently, many Type 2 diabetics only test their blood glucose once a
day -- because they don't want to be reminded they're diabetic and they
don't really know what to do with a high blood glucose reading.
Here are some key steps to follow to help you take full
advantage of the most powerful diagnostic tool available to diabetics --
the blood glucose meter.
- Obtain the insight of someone who understands how to really use the data -- like an engineer.
- At a minimum, get at least one complete physical every year, and obtain a copy of the blood work from your doctor.
- If you are diabetic, obtain the necessary diagnostic tools to test your blood glucose at least 3-4 times a day.
- Buy a journal/notebook to keep track of what you
eat, when you exercise, how you feel, your blood glucose readings, your
doctor appointments, etc.
- Read Chapter 11 so that you overcome the anxiety and fear associated with blood glucose testing.
- Read Chapter 11 to learn how to prepare for doctor appointments and work with your doctor.
- Also, read Chapter 11 for a complete
list of the critical tests that you should be getting (to ensure a
correct diagnosis), e.g. FBG, HbA1C, BP, homocysteine, TC, TG, HDL,
insulin, waist size.
If you want to learn how to use blood glucose testing to control and reverse your Type 2 diabetes, learn more about blood sugar control and get the "Power of BG Testing" PDF.
Working with Your Doctor
One of the best ways to manage your diabetes is to
develop an effective working partnership with your doctor. Your doctor’s
role in this partnership is to provide medical advice, offer treatment
options and recommend resources. Your role is to monitor your symptoms
and blood glucose readings, report them accurately and do what you can
to manage your disease on a day-to-day basis.
Doctor appointments are very important, but most people come
ill-prepared to take full advantage of the time with their doctor. Then,
they complain about the doctor not taking enough time with them. Or,
they don’t ask the doctor any pertinent questions; or, they don’t bother
to take any notes and forget what the doctor told them. The doctor
could spend more time with them, but they must first take full advantage
of the time that they have with their doctor. Then, they will be
pleasantly surprised how well their doctor responds when they take a
more active role in their health.
Use the procedures in Chapter 11 as a guideline to help improve
the effectiveness of your appointments and the relationship with your
doctor. If you are unable to establish a better partnership with your
doctor, be honest and straightforward and let him/her know your
concerns.
Empower Yourself. Don't take what your doctor
says at face value. Your doctor doesn't know everything, in fact he/she
is only making an educated guess as to what is wrong with you. Use his
services as a tool but don't base your life on what your doctor says or
think that a few little pills he/she prescribes will fix the problem...
it won't. You'll only require more pills to counteract the side effects
that the first pills gave you and that will escalate with each new
prescription you are given.
Don't take the easy way out. Question and research everything. The
body can and does heal itself if given the right tools. Your health is
the most important thing you will ever have and once it is lost, the
biggest loser is you.
Critical Blood Tests: Ensure that you get the critical blood tests
to determine your current state of health, and also to ensure your
health is improving over time. Don't assume that your doctor is getting
all the right tests done for you. Some people have died suddenly because
they didn't get a complete set of blood tests and, therefore, were not
diagnosed properly.
Warning: It
is also important that, if you are taking any diabetic drugs, that your
doctor is willing to help you wean off these drugs. Drugs create a
chemical dependency within your body that makes it difficult to just
stop taking the drugs. In many cases, the diabetic drugs lead to insulin
injections, which create an "insulin addiction" trap --
if you take insulin injections for an extended number of years, this
sends a signal to the pancreas to reduce its own production of insulin.
Then, without the insulin from the pancreas, your body becomes dependent
on the insulin injections for the rest of your life!
Reliance on the drugs also creates a financial
strain on you and your family. You may not be feeling the effects yet,
but you will -- don't underestimate the total cost for being diabetic!
If you are frustrated with your doctor, you can learn the 3 most important questions to always ask your doctor and learn how to get your doctor to work for you. More importantly, learn what your doctor may not be telling you that could lead to liver or kidney failure! Get the Doctor Visits & Critical Blood Tests PDF for more information.
Diabetes Care Team: As part of your health care and medical support team, there are other doctors and healthcare professionals that you should be working with.
The Truth About Your Doctor
Your medical doctor is not trained to help you with nutrient-deficient
and lifestyle-driven illnesses such as Type 2 diabetes, obesity, high
blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic fatigue, and some forms of
heart disease.
Doctors spend several years in medical school and internship, but most
of their course work is centered on pharmacology. In addition, most
medical universities are funded by the pharmaceutical companies who
influence the course curriculum!
Medical doctors can only offer you two solutions to deal with your diabetes: drugs and surgery.
Your doctor may refer you to a dietitian but the dietitian will support
the doctor's drug recommendations. In addition, the dietitian knows very
little about the science of diabetes pathology, and they tend to put
you on a calorie-restrictive low-fat diet, which doesn't really address
the diabetes. Dietitians tend to focus on weight loss, which may work
temporarily but you're still diabetic and you're still taking the
dangerous diabetic drugs.
But, that doesn't mean your doctor can't help you! Your doctor can help you by providing a proper medical diagnosis,
your medical blood tests and other key data that you will need to work
with an alternative healthcare practitioner. Always obtain a copy of
your blood test results and physical exam results from your doctor or
his/her assistant.
So, what do you do next now that you know that your doctor can't really help you with your diabetes?
You should still schedule appointments with your doctor, other doctors and other members of your diabetes healthcare team on a regular basis.
Educate yourself about diabetes and drugs, and stop being a victim, and become a victor of wellness. Take back the power and take back your life.
Join a comprehensive diabetes wellness program such as the
Death to Diabetes program. Such a program will educate you about
diabetes and nutrition, and will improve your diabetes and overall
health.
Find an alternative healthcare practitioner that has the proper
background in science and nutrition. Use both your medical doctor and
your alternative healthcare practitioner to optimize your health. If you
can't find an alternative healthcare practitioner in your area, contact
our office to set up an appointment with one of our altrnative healthcare practitioners or diabetes educators.
Key Point: Don't assume that just because a healthcare professional is involved in alternative medicine
that they can help you with your diabetes! Most of the following
alternative healthcare professionals are ill-equipped to help you with
your diabetes: dietitians, nutritionists, diabetes educators,
chiropractors, herbalists, wellness consultants, holistic
practitioners, acupuncturists, naturopathic doctors, etc. Ensure that
the person has the science background in diabetes pathology and
nutrition by interviewing the person before you give him/her any of your
money! Be wary if they offer a guarantee but require full payment!
Prescription Drugs -- The Answer?

cholesterol -- but, are they really the answer to you improving your
health? Go to the following web pages for more information about the

The 6 Stages of Diabetes Recovery, Repair & Reversal
When you start to follow the 10 steps of the Death to Diabetes program and
THE Diet for Diabetics, your body will be in
Stage 1 of the
6-stage recovery model.
Gradually your body will begin to re-balance your hormones and reduce the insulin resistance so that your body will progress to
Stages 2 and
3.
At that point, you should get the book (if you haven't yet) so that you can reach
Stages 4, 5 and 6 to properly manage your diabetes, initiate the internal repair processes in your body, and possibly reverse your diabetes.
Author's Note: "Most people are aware that diet and exercise help to control their diabetes, and even slow down its progress, but it doesn't
stop
the disease from spreading and causing more damage. This is a key point
for diabetics who are doing a good job at controlling their diabetes
with diet and exercise. I define this as
"Stage 4" of my
6-stage diabetes recovery/ repair/reversal model. Diabetics who reach Stage 4 have a
major opportunity to reach Stages 5 and 6, and actually eradicate the disease! -- instead of just controlling it."
So, for those of you who are doing a good
job at controlling your diabetes with diet and exercise, we recommend
that you get Mr. McCulley's book Death to Diabetes -- so that you can get beyond Stage 4.
Note: For those of you who are controlling your blood sugar with diabetic drugs, you are probably in Stage 1.
Note: If you want to accelerate your body's repair process to reverse
the damage caused by the diabetes (and the drugs), refer to Repairing & Healing web page.
Recovery, Repair, Rejuvenation & Reversal (The 4 R's)
Read Chapter 14 and follow the 6-stage model from:
Stage 1 (no blood glucose control or insulin control) to:
Stage 2 (blood glucose and insulin control with drugs)
to:
Stage 3 (blood glucose and insulin control with less drugs)
to:
Stage 4 (blood glucose and insulin control with no drugs) to:
Stages 5 and 6 (complete blood glucose and insulin control).
High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Diabetic Complications
Read Chapter 15 and follow the step-by-step procedures and specific wellness protocols to recover and repair the body from:
- high blood pressure
- high cholesterol
- high inflammation
- heart disease
- eye disease
- kidney disease
- nerve disease
- obesity
- chronic fatigue
More importantly, by following these
natural alternative protocols, your body will gradually reduce its need
for the drugs that you're taking for high blood pressure, high
cholesterol, etc.
If you want this information, but you don't want to buy the book, then, get the
Wellness Protocols PDF.
Money Savings!
Purchase a copy of our Super Meal Model/Meals for a Day PDF document and the Alternative Healthier Foods Table

Why Program Works
Doctors Say Diabetes Can Be Reversed!
Struggling with Your Diabetes?
Are you still struggling with your diabetes and blood
glucose control even though you have the book? If you are, do not
despair. There are 7 reasons why people are unable to get their diabetes under control even after they get the book:
1. Time: They haven't had time to read the book, or make the changes.
2. Motivation: They had all the intentions to change
their diet and start exercising, but life, work, and family got in the
way; or, they got bored with the same meals.
3. Stress/Support: They had a lot of stress in their
life; and, they didn't get the emotional support from their partner,
family, work, doctor and community.
4. Comprehension: They didn't understand some parts of
the book; or, they didn't understand how to use their blood glucose data
to better manage their diabetes.
5. Drugs: They were taking too many drugs, which caused more damage and prevented the body from repairing itself.
6. Belief: They still believe that the drugs would do more good than harm.
7. Finances: They felt that they couldn't afford to buy healthy foods.
To overcome these 7 reasons, follow The "Get Well" steps.
Overcoming the Excuses
But, we have good news! -- you can overcome these barriers and excuses, and still improve your health!
Ignorance
There's no excuse for it! We need to acquire the power, and that power is knowledge.
Remember: When it comes to fighting a disease like diabetes, knowledge is power -- but only if you have the right knowledge ...

Mr. McCulley states:
"I was blessed with strong parents and teachers who gave me this strong
work ethic and belief that I could do anything - if I really applied
myself. And, if my mother, sister and my daughter (Cynthia) hadn't taken
care of me when I got out of the hospital, I would still be diabetic
today."
The book, now a top-seller, is one of the
few diabetes books that looks at diabetes at the cellular level and from
several aspects of medical science, including pathology, etiology, and
epidemiology. The book also looks at diabetes from the aspect of several
engineering sciences including reverse engineering, failure modes &
effects analysis, root cause analysis, statistical engineering
analysis, meta analysis, and process engineering.
As a result, the book provides a concise and easy-to-read set of
procedures for a Type 2 diabetic to customize to his/her needs and get
their diabetes under control within three months. Some diabetics even
have the opportunity to reverse their diabetes and beat the disease.
Most Diabetes Books Don't Work!
We agree that most of the diabetes books out
there aren't worth the money because they don't really help address the real root
causes of Type 2 diabetes at the cellular level. This leads to frustration, wasted time and wasted money on your part.
However, this book
is different for 5 reasons:
1. This
book addresses the real biochemical/ hormonal root
causes of Type 2 diabetes and attacks the disease at the
cellular level, and helps you to successfully fight the
disease such that you will experience lower blood sugar readings
within 7 to 10 days.
2. This
book was written by an engineer who understands medical science and engineering science, and
leverages these sciences to design a superior nutritional program that attacks
the diabetes.
3. This
book was written by someone
who was a diabetic and understands your frustration and anxiety dealing
with this diseases and the drugs; and, explains how to overcome all the
challenges.
4. The author makes himself available to
answer your questions!
